Noam Chomsky described the phenomenon of corporate managers preaching the wonders of capitalism easily becoming commissars preaching the virtue of communism in Manufacture of Consent. As long as it's the same elite position their values are flexible. Olympic gymnast flexible.

Chomsky's work drew on the work of sociologists, psychologists and propagandists who came before him. Among the names is Vilfredo Pareto. Vilfredo Pareto's theories on governance. Pareto has many theories beyond the 80-20 Rule known by economists. Many involving Efficiency, Optimization, the Mind and Society. He taught young Benito Mussolini as he was forming his ideas about the world he sought to lead. And The Circulation of Elites:

The Circulation of Elites is what we are witnessing as we see powers seemingly become Freedom supporters, flip-flop on issues like gender, climate, vaccines, masks, Ukraine, all of it. Establish fake movements they control. They have no loyalty to ideologies or people. Only to their status in proximity to power. But their agenda remains unchanged. Elites. Chasing maximum efficiency trying to 'perfect' humanity, make us efficient and optimal, eliminate choice and "Inefficient Freedom" from the equation:

'Damned Efficient Slavery’ vs. ‘Inefficient Freedom’

Only by fully understanding the motivations of the powerful 'elite' are we able to thoroughly defeat them once and for all. Rather than allow them to rule us however the winds are blowing, as they stealthily try to blow the winds in directions they favor, they circulate with. Vilfredo Pareto's theories have great relevance today. Worth becoming more familiar with them.

I remember the small bits of video from Seattle showing men dressed in full black, come from behind police barricade lines to throw Molotov cocktails at storefronts.

I also live across the river from Portland, and watched on the news every night for over 100 nights, as Antifa tried to set fire to the federal courthouse. And saw online a video of the small piece of city owned land where they had personal tents, showers, a mess tent, and other services. All behind tall tarped fencing.
