Nomi Prins is also interesting - she comes from the left but makes similar points- I have not read her books yet but they are on my to do list- but she has quite a few very good interviews. Also of interest is Adam Tooze also from the left who writes on this issue- I have not read his book The Deluge but also on my to do list- as I understand it it is about how bankers controlled the world affairs leading to the disaster during and post WW1. James Corbett, Corbett Report has some very good videos on the Fed and also on how bankers manipulated the US into WW1. Thanks again for the new links. And I agree it's a much under appreciated issue including by most historians. Until a few months ago I was also completely unaware and would have deemed such matters as conspiracy theory nutters!

Ralph Nader wrote a novel in 2009 called "Only the Super-Rich Can Save Us".
Other than for a laugh, I don't suggest anyone read it. But it's not a funny book. It's pretty dumb. In the right hands, a book with this title and cast of characters could have been a hilarious and scathing satire. Instead we got a pathetic paean to wealth, dressed up as concern over the response to Katrina.
