Yesterday I watched a few documentaries about Henry Ford, as I come from Detroit, Michigan. I feel he was....both a man of his time, and also an evil man. Though he did much to establish Detroit as 'the Motor City', after growing up in that city, I only saw the aftermath of his efforts, which obliterated much in it's wake, and cemented 'working on the line' as the drudgery that it still is. My mother worked for years at a nearby chain conveyor company (ACCO), which was a job that allowed all 3 of my siblings to attend college on her dime. As the saying goes, 'it's complicated'. Americans and American oil companies want oil that doesn't belong to them. And they don't want to pay the true value of the oil. At the time of the "Iran Hostage Crisis", Americans were screaming, "BUT IT'S OUR OIL!!!" Indeed.
Correction, however: the Iran-Iraq War went on from 1980 to 1988. It was a CONSPIRACY between Israel and the US, with the cooperation of Egypt, to keep a war going as many years as possible to weaken both Iran and Iraq. Israel sold parts to Iran and the US provided intelligence and military hardware via Egypt to Iraq. The Ollie North business was a cover for the real conspiracy. He was also involved in the release of the hostages in Beirut--who later sued and were given part of the money the Shah stole from his country and invested in NYC, which had been frozen since 1979 and which is now worth billions. The results of these law suits is available on the Wayback machine, if you care to see how much the stolen money is likely worth today. I know one family was given (by American courts--the state of Iran was not involved in the case which is basically theft by use of "law") $330 million. That is only one family.
I can only hope that the new political structures in the Middle East will prevent the US and Israel from damaging Iran further. It is inevitable that both Western countries will lose and speed their implosion, which both of them face. Thank you for putting this info out. I wish more Westerners knew the truth behind the attacks on Syria and Iraq, Palestine (which was glaringly obvious in the moment--how could people not know it was a false flag), Iran, etc. You don't talk about Libya or Yemen. The US tried to destroy Afghanistan but, as has always been the case with countries attacking Afghanistan, the US lost and failed.
