The way I like to explain PCR is this. Some official tells you there is a bar of gold in your house. You're excited, and beginning the search, you find a gold watch you inherited, still not to a bar. You now are ripping the house apart in your search. You find trace amounts of gold in the electronics you have, your TV, and even the thermostat controlling your heat in the home.
